GPA provides multiple opportunities for students to participate in a rigorous, relevant, and coherent standards-based curriculum. The programs offered include:
IB Middle Years Programme
Middle School: Grades 6-8
High School: Grades 9-10
GPA students in Grades 6-10 are organized into Houses (grade level and/or multi-level) and the educational programs are designed around the rigorous IBMYP. All students in Grades 6-10 are participants in the IBMYP course of instruction.
High School: Grades 11-12
GPA offers optional participation in the IB Diploma Programme to students in grades 11-12. Students may opt to be full IB Diploma students or partial IB students. For more information please visit out IB Diploma Programme page.
*GPA students in grades 11-12 who do not choose the full IB Diploma Programme, are enrolled in the College Preparatory Program. All core course at GPA meet the "A-G" admission requirements of University of California. For more information on this topic, please visit the Counseling page.
Independent Study Program

The Independent Study Program accommodates students who would benefit from a less structured schedule due to academic or personal needs. The Independent Study Program is a voluntary participation program and is only available to students who voluntarily enroll. Currently, IS utilizes the online Apex learning program for students. ELC Program

Expeditionary Learning Center candidates include credit-deficient and other academically and/or behaviorally at-risk students. Students in the ELC Program receive standards-based and remedial curriculum in a smaller class-size setting.
