The Arts

The Arts are an integral part of Guajome Park Academy's curriculum. The International Baccalaureate Program requires students to have arts instruction throughout their participation in the program. As a result, students at all grade levels have the opportunity to explore the visual and performing arts.

We have continued to expand our program to include traditional as well as innovative arts experiences. Through our classes during our regular school day, as well as after school, students have the opportunity to participate in performance groups, drama, dance, and music. Our performance groups include choir, orchestra, band and drumline.

Student work is showcased at school events, art galleries and expositions throughout the county, the San Diego County fair, music concerts, drama and dance performances and festivals and competitions. Our teachers have been recognized by county arts associations for their outstanding work with students.
