Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal at 9:30 a.m. in the Gym

June 5 Universal Studios Grad Bash

Grad Bash will be held at Universal Studios on Friday, June 5, returning on Saturday, June 6.

The buses will leave GPA at 11:00 a.m. on Friday and will return by 5:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Ticket price includes transportation and admission to Universal Studios.

Tickets will be available to purchase from January 28- April 26 with Mrs. Tavares in the Finance Department. There are only 100 tickets available.

Ticket price is $100.

This year’s Grad Bash will feature Dance clubs throughout the park hosted by L.A DJs.

Senior Class Awards

Guajome’s year end scholarship, athletic and class awards are going to be held in the afternoon of Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in the Gym at 12:45 - 3:08 p.m.

The Class of 2020 Valedictorian and Salutatorian will  be announced at this event.

Parents are very welcome to attend. Cake and light refreshments will be served.

Performances

Auditions for Performing at the Commencement Ceremony  will be held on Friday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. in Ms. Riley's room 2224

mandatory rehearsal

A mandatory graduation rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. 

Students will assemble in the gymnasium and need to be prepared to stay for two hours.

commencement ceremony

Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Guajome Park Academy Amphitheater.

Students need to be on campus by 3:15 p.m.

There are no tickets for graduation, you may bring as many people as you wish, but there will be no reserving of seats. We also request that if you bring large balloons or sun umbrellas that you sit or stand at the rear of the  event to prevent blocking the view of other attendees.

Caps may be appropriately decorated, but not with any tall decorations.

Graduation

Announcements, Caps & Gowns, Class Rings…

Jostens will be giving students their         graduation packets on Friday, November 15, 2019 with the order pick up on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at lunch time outside the Lower Wellness Center.

All participants in commencement are required to wear school approved regalia which includes cap, gown, tassel and medallion. Alternatively, graduation regalia is provided for students to borrow and wear during the ceremony, but must be returned  immediately following the ceremony.

Delivery for caps and gowns will be 05/15/2020 at lunch time in the counseling department.

You may purchase graduation items on the day of delivery, but payment can only be cash or credit/debit card. Outstanding balance can only be paid in cash or with credit/debit card. No checks.

Graduation Announcements will be delivered to GPA in March 2020. Additional Announcements will be available to purchase for $1.50 each (cash only) while stocks last.
